My husband, sixteen year old daughter, and I stayed for 10 wonderful days. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We met the locals and purchased fresh fish to cook at home. Everyone associated with the property was friendly and helpful - especially Jeff!! He was always available to fix a problem. Mahalo for a wonderful vacation!!

My Mother and Son and I stayed at this *** location, this must be the best property we could have ever stayed at. The balcony was heavenly, we would open the sliding glass doors and the ocean breeze would fill the apartment. We never used the AC one time in the family room and in bedrooms only at night to reduce humidity. The people were wonderful, especially Jeff. We stayed 7 days and loved every second of it. To whom ever is reading this, if you have the chance to book this unit, you will absolutely NEVER regret staying here. Thankyou to everyone there that made our vacation spectacular.

My husband and I were delighted with Hale Ko-olau. The studio was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as presented in the pictures. The sound of the ocean waves and warm ocean breeze were a wonderful compliment to our morning coffee in the loungers and dinner in the courtyard. Hale Ko-olau was in a location that enabled us to travel around the windward coast and north shore easily. We did not spend any time there during the day, however, it was a clean and cozy place to return to at the end of our activity-filled days, to cook our meals, have a quick hot tub and rest our heads. The staff were very friendly and responded to all of our questions very promptly, before, during and after our stay. Thanks so much to Oli and Zack for helping to make our vacation wonderful!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful vacation and thanks to your rental we were able to afford to stay on Oahu. We were thankful to have the space and the kitchen. The kids loved the hot tubs in the evening, finding geckos in the garden and kayaking in the ocean. For anyone not wanting the high end hussle bussle of Waikiki this is a great place. Make sure you have a vehicle so you can explore the island. Especially the North Shore.

My husband I stayed at Koolani Lanai 2/28 thru 3/3/12. What a lovely place! Such a beautiful view with extraordinary sunrises. The location was perfect with convenient access to all that we needed. The best part was that we met Jeff and Becky that worked there and they became our personal travel advisors! It was a wonderful vacation. One that we'll never forget. Thank you.

Wow, what a fantastic week we had! We're so glad we found this place, it was the perfect location for us. It was an easy drive farther up the sunny north shore, but still close enough to the east & south to explore Sea Life Park, Waikiki, and Pearl Harbor. We saw an amazing range of geography and botany on these drives!
But most of all, it was wonderful to have a calm place to return to. The cottage was sized perfectly for our family of 4, and it was amazing to be right on the beach. All the facilities were there, and everything was well-maintained. We would definitely return!!

Aloha,
We were 3 couples staying is this charming 3 bedroom house. Loved being so close to the water, taking morning beach walks and having a truly Hawaiian experience on this side of the island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend booking with this company.

8)we saw a whale spout from our balcony. We loved loved the location by north shore. Way better than a small hotel room. We stayed 2 weeks. If we had any problems they took care of them right away.

We stayed in House of the Chiefs in January 2012. We had a wonderful time. Everything was just as the pictures showed. The staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying in the house. I was reuniting with my son who is stationed in Korea and I couldn't have asked for a better place to do it.

Aloha! This was our second Christmas at Hale Ko'olau and we're trying to figure out out if we can do it again next year! We just love the place and can't overstate how super it really is...at least at 'House of the Chief', our waterfront 'beach house'! This year it was pretty windy on the east shore but we loved the waves regardless from our comfy living room and house size kitchen with dishwasher. Our own laundry is also a treat!Otilani, the manager (and now friend) is so welcoming and gracious and was happy to go to any lengths to make sure our stay was enjoyable....we love her (and her family!) This house is roomy...but do expect rustic charm...this is not a 5 star Waikiki pad! If you're looking for a wonderful country retreat away from the touristy rush and want to do your own thing this is your place! Close to lots of activities, beaches and snorkelling (Turtle Bay is great and safe). Enjoy! We would go back in a heartbeat!

We just recently stayed at Kauai Kai and it was lovely! The condo is kept clean and well maintened. Everything that we needed was there. Huula is a well located town in the northshore. You are near a foodland and not far from all the best beaches Northshore has to offer like Sunset beach, You are about 1hour away from downtown which is no problem because the drive on Kamehameha highway is very pleasant. You have the ocean on one side and beautiful mountains on the other. I felt very safe there, the condo was extremely peaceful and the staff very friendly. I recommend this condo, perfect for a couple!

This was our second stay and it didn't disappoint. Where else can you stay so close to the water? We were so surprised to see the turtles and swarms of surf fish this year. Of course, the sunrises are incomparable. The unit had everything we needed and being able to rent equipment from the office was a nice touch. Looking forward to our next visit.

Upon our arrival, we immediately went out to check out the breath-taking view that our condo had. Being right on the water was absolutely what we needed to calm the soul! Waking up to beautiful sunrises, evenings in the hot tub right outside our door...***. The condo have every comfort of home and if we needed anything, the staff was friendly and very helpful. We already miss our Island home and look forward to visiting again! Mahalo nui loa for making my birthday week a special one!

We had a family gathering of 32 and booked 2 and a half houses. (Koolani Lanai; Hale Mauka Makai; Hale Mauka)

The accommodation allowed us to all gather together for many fun filled meals as a family – where else in the world could you do that and be just a few metres from the ocean with the gentle waves rolling onto the shore.

The houses were comfortable and very suitable for this large family group. We could have stayed here all day since the children had ample room to play and collect coconuts, we had a wonderful time on the kayaks - gentle waves and enough of a challenge for inexperienced kayakers – yet still felt very stable and safe. We put the barbecues to great use and were able to watch the kids having a great time in the hot tub at the same time.

North Shore Oahu has so much to explore (swimming over the top of turtles in Turtle Cove; snorkelling amongst the fish at shark bay; surfing Pipeline; bathing at Waimea; exploring the historic village of Hale’iwa; the list goes on) and our only regret is we weren’t here for longer.

Mahalo nui loa Hale Ko’olau Hawaii

First of all my wife and I had a great time. This was our first visit to your beachfront property. I can truly say this was exactly as advertise "on the beach". It was such a pleasure to open up the bay window and just allow the sounds of the waves hitting the shoreline to rock you to sleep. There were no negative issues to our stay. We had complete privacy and felt like we were living on our own private resort. The ability to swim or snorkel in the ocean and go straight to your own private hot tub and then have dinner or breakfast on the beach all done within a walking distance of fifty feet. We have already planned a return visit. We plan on bringing family and friends and securing a larger villa for our next Hawaiian experience.
The wife and I have travelled all over the world and by far this was our best trip. See you guys soon and continue to do what you are currently doing offering a terrific package at a truly great price.
