My friends and I stayed at the Kai Lani in Aug and had a wonderful time. We're so happy we chose to stay far away from Honolulu/Waikiki. Three Tables Beach next to Sharks Cove is just beautiful. Everyone in Hawaii are super friendly. We just loved Hawaii and were sad to leave.

Very quiet peaceful location. Steps to the beautiful coastline. Loved every minute of it, and had a tough time coming home. Was the perfect getaway. Will be looking to return soon and stay in another of the Hale Ko'olau places!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable accommodations. We had everything we needed to make our honeymoon enjoyable. A short distance to several beautiful beaches. The upstair guests were courteous and quiet too.

The accommodations were fantastic, the beautiful sunrises were spectacular and the waves were soothing to the soul. We had a great time and believe the location and the value will surely bring us back. Truly a relaxing area, we appreciate the availability of the beach equipment rentals and the staff. We had a blast exploring the North shore; truly a part of heaven. Thank you! :)

My family and I stayed in the Kai Lani in April. It ended up being sort of a family reunion with 4 of us from AZ and 3 of us from IN. The house and grounds were perfect! We had the best time and I can't wait to take my daughters back to Oahu and stay at Hale Koolau. The weather was perfect and so was our stay. Mahalo for the best vacation ever!

We had a wonderful time staying in Hauula. Right on the beach, gentle waves soothing at your doorstep, spectacular sunrise, comfortable and tasteful decor, caring care-keepers. Far away from the commercial Hawaii, you will experience the real Oahu, yet close to everything. We will be back!

My wife and I stayed in kauai kai in mid feb. The place was spectacular. We could not have asked for more house was so close to the beach we could hear the soothing sound of the waves. The staff was very friendly and happy to offer great places to eat and visit. We constantly had our balcony open because of the wonderful breeze which made it so we didnt even need the air conditioner. The friendly black cat came to visit us when we grilled and was a nice companion while we sat and ate our dinner drinking a margarita right on the deck. We definitely plan to come back.

My family of 4 stayed at the "Sunrise" from
March 23 - Ap1, 2011. We were very happy and pleased with the accomodation and location. The Pukala La is very, very close
to the ocean front and this was fantastic. There is nothing like hearing the sound of waves when you wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night. THe house was clean and tidy and kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots etc. I did suggest that there needs to be a way better corkscrew for opening wine bottles as the one that was supplied made it extremely difficult to get a
bottle of wine open. The grounds and outside of the buildings were clean and tidy.
The recycling concept was great. We were so close to the ocean and the breeze that came with being that close allowed us to never need the airconditioner. Elani met us when we arrived and she was great! She provided us with lots of info on where to eat, what to see etc. This is a great place to stay and I will stay here again and I will surely recommend it to my friends.

We had such a nice stay in Hale Alii this winter. The first few days were sunny and the sunrises were magnificent. Sitting on the deck, right at the ocean's edge and watching the sun light up the sky...who could ask for more? Cousin Oti was very helpful, and the accomodations were just great. The deck is getting a little worn, but that didn't keep us away. The hot tub was very relaxing. Enjoyed the area and the small town, more authentic Hawaii experience.

Aloha Elaine and thank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed the amazing sunrises from Hale Ko'olau and had a relaxing vacation. Being right on the water the salt air does take its toll on the outside of the houses and the decks in remarkably short time. Please know that this year the exterior of all the homes and all the outdoor decks/areas are scheduled for repair & maintenance.

We stayed in the studio in the Ehu Kai cottage; nice kitchen and all the space we needed. One night of high tide and high winds, the waves were splashing up on the little seawall and hitting our window. You can't get much closer to the ocean. Cousin Otilani was very nice and handled everything. The black kitten dropped by for a visit every day. Nice local grocery store right up the street. Not much food, but it's all very good; Papa Ole's, Surfin' Tacos, and the Kahuku shrimp trucks. Gorgeous sunrises on your patio. Not surprisingly, your stuff will get damp and salty.

When we booked the Hale Ali'i, for two couples the price was so good we thought for sure we wouldn't find all to our satisfaction. WRONG! We looked at the beach from our windows and were only a few steps away! We ate an the lanai and enjoyed the sound of the surf and at night the almost full moon. There was a slight moldy smell in the condo, which, if you have lived next to the ocean you recognize as coming with the territory. The only thing the kitchen was missing was a hand mixer and 9x13 pan and we were able to purchase a foil one at the market we could walk to and we used the onsite blender to mix.

We went snorkeling off the beach just 5 minutes walk from our condo and bogey boarded at Pounders beach and Hukilau which were both close.

We recommend Papa Ole's and Surfin Tacos for great food--You could also walk to both!

I also can't say enough about Oti and Zak! Very helpful. The weather had turned rainy so Oti didn't charge us for the daily use of chairs and boards--even when the sun came out again. Mahalo! Along with the weather we were able to witness some *** waves!

We have already recommended to three of our friends that they would love to stay here. Our daughter is thinking about staying at one of the smaller condos for her honeymoon this summer! And, we will definitely be back! Much Aloha!

My fiance and I absoultely loved this little studio! It was perfect for us for the week we were there. The property is very well taken care of and Oti was *** to work with. We would stop by just to say hi and would find more things to do and always had great conversations. We have already highly recommended this place to family and friends! I can't wait to go back- we wish we wouldn't have had to come back to PA's snowy winters.

Our daughter was getting married and we needed a place that would hold all of us(14people). So we actually rented 2 places the Sea spray was also rented ( other couple had a kinda honeymoon -so to speak) anyway we were satisfied .onti was very very very helpful and kind. my only complaint from the balcony house is we didnt get to meet ZACK !!!!! lol. store close by that you could walk to.provided washer and dryer, hot tubs and kind words.thanks again for having everything ready for us and getting us anything else we needed.

We loved our get-a-way at Hale Ali'i and are already consiring to reserve the same spot for next year! The beach house was perfecy and we felt so at home and totally relaxed. The roar of the waves 24 hours was *** and we lovedhaving almost all our meals on the deck.

Otilani was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome...we hated to leave.

This location is definitely away from the Honolulu busy-ness and a real lilttle retreat. Lost of beaches nearby to roam and explore. The public beach at Turtle Bay was super as was their patio bar/grill!

A short hop to either the south or north shores.

We enjoyed the aid back feel of this gem of a property and would recommend it highly! Can you tell?

Aloha

My family and I had a perfect time staying at Nani Kai Hale!! Everything went as promised, except for the rain which no one had control over. We got exactly what we expected--a great house on the beach, quiet relaxed time and wonderful service as needed. We love Oti--she did everyhting as promised and with a great personality and smile. We will go back I am sure.
