I love this place. I have been two years in a roll and have next year booked and planned. I always recommend Hale Ko'olau to anyone even thinking about visiting Oahu. The houses are perfect, the pictures are a very good idea of what you will get. Very Clean !!! We felt very safe and it was more like a home away from home. Zach is very helpful and Oti always greets us with a warm smile and the familiar "Cousin" hello. You will not be disappointed.

The studio was clean and comfortable and the location perfect.
Many thanks for a great stay - specially to Mark who has the perfect combination of being on hand if you need anything but not intrusive.

aloha! Amy and I had a wonderful time here. this is the place for those who want to experience the unhurried, non-commercial Hawaii. Simple and self guided, yet the staff is right there if you need them.
we'll be back for sure!

Jan. 2010. This was our first time to visit Hawaii. We had agreat time. The house was beautiful and was more than we expected. Zack and Fred were great. Very informative. We made friends(Alex) with some of the locals. We would highly recommend this place to anyone else.

We stayed here in mid-January and we had so much fun "living with the locals"! This was the first time I've stayed in a vacation rental rather than at a resort and I loved it! It's so nice to have a place to call "home", even when you're miles away from home! Thank you Hale Ko'olau for a very enjoyable stay!

We had a great time at the Kauai Kai back in September. The place was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better "staycation" spot on Oahu. It was the perfect getaway at the perfect vacation rental!!! We hope to be back soon. Thank you very much!!!

My family loved this place! A 3 year, 18 month old, my wife, my mother-in-law, and I all stayed and enjoyed every day in Hawaii and in this property. It's just what we were looking for. I didn't want a resort style vacation, i wanted to be away from the city and in a quiet, beautiful area. To sum it all up, i am coming here every year! Not just because its Hawaii, but because this property, staff, and simplicity of the house; it made our vacation that much more enjoyable! The one thing negative thing about the house is the driveway is a hard to see at night and tough during the day if your not looking for it. Other then that, i highly recomend this place.

Aloha & thank you for your kind words. Our family and staff do work very hard to provide the best quality and prices for oceanfront and beachfront rentals on the North Shore. In the next month we plan to enhance our driveway markers to make them more visible and easier to find. To do this we will use reflective tape/paint for the addresses.

My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon. It was my first time in Hawaii. Everything was absolutely ***. The studio was great and the staff was ***. I have traveled quite a bit. I have never met strangers as nice as the people in Hawaii. Everyone treated us as family. We will definately visit again, and we will only stay one of the properties listed. Every property is absolutely breathtaking. Thank You for allowing us to stay at your vacation home.

On this, our first visit to Hawai'i, we came to celebrate our son's wedding. We preferred to stay out of the hectic pace of a large city. Our son and daughter-in-law found Hale Ko'olau for us and the majority of the wedding party. Hale Ko'olau is a true gem and our rental, Kai Lani "Beautiful Sea," is aptly named. The complete furnishings, private beachfront, outdoor grill, quiet surroundings, and gorgeous flowers made this an experience to remember. What amazed us was the affordable rate!! My family and I would give Hale Ko'olau the highest rating and wholeheartedly suggest a visit there for a true experience of Hawaiian hospitality and comfort. Me Ke Aloha Pumehana

We stayed here five nights and had a relaxing time. The property is everything as advertised no surprises. The north shore with the gentle breeze is a wonderful place to be. Zack is a pro. and took good care of us

The Nani Kai Hale is a beautiful beach house! The location was perfect for our group, as we wanted away from the busy city. We were about 30-45 minutes from the North Shore and about an hour from Pearl Harbor. With a grocery store about 10 minutes away we stocked the cabinets with our favorites & enjoyed fixing meals each evening ~ of course, eating on the patio overlooking the ocean made it worth while! Oti was fabulous! She greeted us at the house when we arrived and told us everything we needed to know. She was very informative and a pleasure to have there after a long 8-hour flight! 2 of the 5 nights we were entertained by surfers! One of the other nights we were too busy enjoying the hot tub to notice if there were surfers out or not. All in all, this was a FANTASTIC vacation in the perfect house. We would all highly recommend it to others. You have a great property!!! John & Lisa Glover Coppell, Texas

About an hours drive from Honolulu. Great access to the North Shore attractions, Polynesian Center, Waimea Bay, etc... The place itself is more comfortable than a hotel.

Lanikeha ''Legendary Part Of Heaven''
We arrived on Tuesday July 14, 2009 and left on Tuesday July 21, 2009. We were on our honeymoon and the location was a complete surprise to my new wife. We were both very excited about the location and the pictures I had seen on the internet do not do the actual location any justice. It is beautiful and all of my worries quickly went away upon arrival. We will visit here again soon. Thanks for all of the hospitality and the use of your beautiful home!

7/5 thru 7/19/09. If watching the sunrise with your morning coffee or having an evening cocktail with the stars and the sound of crashing waves is your thing, then "Hauula Lanai" is the place for you. The view from the large deck is exceptional and you are literally only feet from the water. Sea turtles can be seen in the surf at high tide, particularly in the evenings when the sun is at your back. Bring a light jacket or sweater as the tradewinds can be a little chilling in the morning and evenings. The accomodations are fine, with all the essentials being provided. Don't hesitate to eat at "Shrimp Express", just north on Rt. 83 or "Giovanni's" shrimp truck, a little futher north on the same road. Nothing fancy but great shrimp. If more formal dining interests you, try "Haleiwa Joe's" or "Jamison's on the Sea", both at the marina in Haleiwa. A little pricy but casual dress, great food and a very pleasant atmosphere. Rent as small a car as you can comfortably handle as parking at "Hauula Lanai" is a little tight. On a down note, take all the warnings about car break-ins seriously. We have first hand experience of this widespread problem. Keep in mind that putting your things in the trunk is no quanantee they'll be safe. All in all, a great location on a wonderful island

Nani Kai Hale ''Beautiful Beach House''
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nani Kai Hale Beach House. A very beautiful house. The only concern we had was the driveway. In going in and out, we often missed the driveway coming back because it was not visible.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We purposely keep our driveways and homes discreet and sheltered from Kamehameha so as to create a more private and exclusive atmosphere.

Kamai ''Garden View''
Our stay at the Kamiai Garden View was enjoyable and pleasant. The staff was prompt and curtious and there were NO hitches in any portion of both booking our stay with you as well as all communication for our honeymoon. We snorkled, dove the cliffs, surfed, enjoyed pies from Ted's bakery just down the road and woke every morning to a beautiful sunrise in the lawn chairs out front. I recommend the stay for anyone that is looking for a "slow paced" vacation or honeymoon.

Hauula Lanai ''Balcony Over Hauula'': Thank you. We had a nice time. Lovely place. Only suggestion...change shower head. It has very low pressure. That is a SMALL suggestion for the week we were there. Thanks again. LOVED IT! Leslie
