The Hale Ali'i "House of the Chief" is a fully air conditioned direct oceanfront vacation rental home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,500+ sf living area) two bedroom, two bath duplex vacation home with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout. The Hale Ali'i features a complete, large and open modern kitchen with porcelain tile countertops, sealed top stove/range, built-in microwave, side by side fridge, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views. There is a queen size futon in the "bonus" Soji (Japanese style) room which allows this vacation rental to accomodate up to 6 guests, in addition to a separate dining room with seating for six. The master suite is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a Sealy pillow-top queen size mahogany sleigh bed. The master bath features black marble floors and a unique moss rock wall shower. The second bedroom also has a Sealy pillow-top queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. Both bedrooms have individually controlled, ultra quiet, mini-split air conditioning & tropical ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around.

Enjoy relaxing on the direct ocean front decks which open up to the blue South Pacific ocean only 20 feet away. Your private deck area has an outdoor dining table with seating for six. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man sunk-in hot tub (in adjacent oceanfront deck). Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Holiday Rates: We charge a flat rate of $2,299.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $4,599.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

Other Fees & Details:

All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights. No exceptions.

Minimum requirement for Christmas & New Year's is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of six (6) people, including children over 1 year of age.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservations system.

Add a one-time, non-refundable, $125.00 cleaning fee to all reservations, a facilities fee of $14.99 per day and a one-time, non-refundable reservation fee of $19.99.

State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax is currently 13.962% (charged on rents) and State of Hawaii General Excise Tax on Oahu is currently 4.712% (charged on services, not including rent).
