The Kauai Kai “Sea of Kauai” is an air conditioned ocean side vacation rental on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious second floor duplex (700+ sf living area) one bedroom, one bath vacation home with plantation style lanai overlooking our tropical courtyard & the beautiful Pacific Ocean just 80 feet beyond. The Kauai Kai features a renovated, modern and open kitchen with granite countertops, sealed top stove/range, microwave, side by side fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The dining area, located on your private covered lanai with ocean views, has a table & seating for four. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room which allows this vacation rental to sleep up to 4 guests. The bedroom area is furnished with an elegant and tropical teak and bamboo bedroom set and a king size bed which opens to your lanai & the ocean beyond. The recently remodeled bath features travertine stone, a full size bathtub & pedestal sink. This vacation rental has ultra quite mini-split air conditioning & tropical ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this suite enjoys cool ocean breezes year around.

Relax on the beach (just 80 feet away) or on your private covered lanai with dining table (seating for four). and ocean & mountain views. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man hot tub just steps away in the tropical courtyard below. Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Come enjoy your Hawaii vacation directly on the beach with this North Shore oceanfront vacation home.

Holiday Rates: We charge a flat rate of $1,299.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $2,598.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

Other Fees & Details:

All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights. No exceptions.

Minimum requirement for Christmas & New Year's is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over two (2) person occupancy up to a maximum of four (4) people, including children over 1 year of age.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservations system.

Add a one-time, non-refundable, $90.00 cleaning fee to all reservations, a facilities fee of $9.99 per day and a one-time, non-refundable reservation fee of $14.99.

State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax is currently 13.962% (charged on rents) and State of Hawaii General Excise Tax for Oahu is 4.712% (charged on services, not including rent).
