Hale Ko'olau, LLC Booking Policies
To hold your reservation we require a non-refundable 25% advance deposit. No reservation is guaranteed until the rental agreement ("terms and conditions") has been agreed to online (during reservation process) and the initial deposit paid. Any changes to the reservation after the agreement is accepted and the deposit is paid will be subject to a one-time $100 administrative processing charge (excluding cancellation of a reservation when deposit is non-refundable). If you cancel after final payment has been made, or after arrival at the property, you agree to forfeit all rents prepaid except for any amount we are able to recover through re-renting the property. We reserve the right to re-rent the property for less than the amount you agreed to pay and will refund only the amount we are able to recover. No exceptions to this policy will be made for any reason. You are advised to obtain travel insurance coverage.
At Hale Ko'olau we pride ourselves on maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. That is why we will always personally receive our guests at the property and answer their questions upon arrival. All guests are required to sign a waiver of liability declaration and receipt of possession upon arrival.

Collection of Personal Information Offline:
Personal and financial information collected by Hale Ko’olau, LLC is kept secure in our database protected by firewall technology. Physical personal and financial information is retained only until after your reservation is completed and is then shredded. Access to this information is limited strictly to management and the information is retained in locking cabinets.
Computer Tracking & Cookies:
Our web site is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to our guests. This information is used strictly for internal purposes and is never shared with any other companies or entities.

Travel/Booking Agent Commissions
As of Apri 1, 2013 Hale Ko’olau, LLC will no longer offer commissions to travel agencies or other businesses that secure reservations on our behalf unless a separate agreement has been signed.
